Giant Manta Rays
The giant manta ray is the world’s largest ray species. The marine creature’s name is self-explanatory – this animal is huge. In fact, the ray can sometimes reach lengths of up to five meters long. More impressively, the pectoral fins on this creature can measure up to 30 feet across. To put it in perspective, that is about four and a half times the height of Michael Jordan. Their diet consists mainly of zooplankton and other small foods from the ocean water.
